About Stubify

Stubify exists because the smallest employers were the worst served. A two-truck moving company, a single-location restaurant, a contractor who pays one helper in cash — none of them need a payroll platform with an onboarding call and a monthly minimum. They need a correct, professional-looking earnings statement, today, for a few dollars.

So we built one thing and tried to make it good: a generator that does the withholding arithmetic properly, renders a stub you would not be embarrassed to hand to a bank, and charges per document instead of per month. $8.99 for a stub, $7.99 for each additional stub.

What we are not

We are not a payroll provider, a tax preparer, an accountant or a law firm. We do not file returns, remit taxes, or advise on classification. Our tax figures are estimates built from published federal rates and the state rate you enter, and every stub carries that note. If you need someone to sign off on your payroll, hire a CPA — and bring the stubs with you.

Honest use only

A paystub is a record of pay that actually happened. Stubify is for documenting real wages: for employers who owe their workers a record, for the self-employed who need to evidence their own income, and for anyone reconstructing a stub that was lost. Fabricating income you did not earn is fraud, and our Acceptable Use Policy exists to say so plainly.
